Sound waves target deadly pancreatic tumors in new trial
NCT ID NCT06211933
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a focused ultrasound technique (HIFU) to destroy pancreatic tumors that cannot be removed by surgery. It is for patients whose cancer has not progressed after initial chemotherapy. The main goals are to see if the procedure is safe and if it helps patients live longer by controlling the local tumor.
