Blindfolded treadmill training: a new hope for stroke rehab?
NCT ID NCT06972355
Summary
This study is testing if temporarily removing vision during treadmill walking helps people recover better after a recent stroke. It will compare two groups of 36 participants: one walking with eyes closed and one with eyes open. The idea is that blocking vision might force the brain to rely more on other senses, potentially improving walking, balance, and body awareness during recovery.
