This study aims to find the best approach for treating hidden hernias that can't be felt during a physical exam. Researchers are comparing immediate surgery against watchful waiting in 252 patients to see which leads to better outcomes and fewer complications. The goal is to create a decision-making tool to help future patients choose between these treatment options.
