Brain scans may unlock mystery of 'Hidden' hearing loss
NCT ID NCT07230236
Summary
This study aims to better understand 'hidden hearing loss,' a condition where people have normal hearing test results but struggle to understand speech in noisy places. Researchers will test 63 adults to see if specific brainwave measurements are linked to their real-world difficulty hearing in noise. The goal is to find better ways to identify this common but hard-to-diagnose problem.
