First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether a drug combination (chlorpromazine and promethazine) that induces a hibernation-like state is safe for people having a severe stroke. About 57 adults who are eligible for clot-removal treatment will receive the drugs. The main goal is to find a safe dose and see if it might reduce brain damage.
