Summary
This study looked at people who had surgery for a large hiatal hernia (over 3 cm) at least two years ago. Researchers compared two surgical methods—LINX device placement and fundoplication—to see how often the hernia came back. The goal was to understand long-term outcomes, not to test a new treatment.
