First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether adding high-intensity pulsed electromagnetic field (HI-PEMF) therapy to standard physical therapy can reduce pain and improve daily function in people who have had a total hip replacement. Forty adults who had hip replacement due to osteoarthritis will receive either HI-PEMF plus exercise or exercise alone. The goal is to see if magnetic field therapy offers extra relief and helps recovery.
