New injection aims to simplify tough hernia surgeries
NCT ID NCT07226791
Summary
This study is testing whether an investigational drug called AGN-151607-DP can help surgeons close abdominal hernias more easily. About 200 adults with a ventral hernia needing open surgery will receive either the drug or a placebo injection before their operation. The main goal is to see if the drug helps close the muscle wall without needing an additional, more complex surgical technique.
