First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study aims to measure pressure inside the belly and in the belly muscles during surgery to fix a type of hernia called an incisional hernia. Ten adults with hernias of a certain size will have pressure readings taken before, during, and after their operation. The goal is to better understand how tension affects healing and hernia return, not to test a new treatment.
