Ancient herbs meet modern medicine in fight against early menopause
NCT ID NCT07020429
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a traditional Chinese herbal formula called Huanjingjian decoction to standard hormone replacement therapy (HRT) helps women with premature ovarian insufficiency (early menopause). Researchers will compare the herbal formula plus HRT against a placebo plus HRT in 276 women over six months. The main goal is to see if the herbal addition improves menopausal symptoms and quality of life more than HRT alone.
