Ancient herbs meet modern tech in fight against dry eyes
NCT ID NCT06089317
Summary
This study tested whether a gentle steam treatment made from traditional Chinese herbs could help people with dry eye disease. Researchers compared several herbal formulas against a placebo steam and standard artificial tear drops in 200 participants over four months. The goal was to see if the herbal mist could safely improve eye comfort and tear film stability more effectively than current standard care.
