Summary
This completed study tested whether tablets made from the Eschscholzia (California poppy) plant could safely improve sleep for adults with insomnia. 104 participants were randomly assigned to take either the herbal tablets or a placebo (dummy pill) daily for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in sleep quality, daytime tiredness, and mood to see if the treatment helped ease insomnia symptoms.
