Summary
This study tested whether a traditional Chinese herbal pill called Liuwei Dihuang could help control age-related hearing loss. It involved 120 older adults in China with mild to moderate hearing decline, who took either the herbal pill or a placebo for one year. Researchers measured changes in hearing and speech understanding to see if the treatment was safe and effective.
