NCT ID NCT07380581
Summary
This study tested whether a traditional Chinese herbal patch placed on specific acupressure points could help reduce pain, improve mood, and enhance quality of life for dialysis patients experiencing fistula-related pain. It involved 21 patients in Taiwan who had regular pain during dialysis sessions. The trial was designed to compare the herbal patch against a placebo patch in a double-blind setup.
