Summary
This study tested a treatment combining the standard drug Tenofovir with four specific herbal extracts and Vitamin C for people with chronic Hepatitis B. The goal was to see if this combination could more effectively suppress and potentially clear the Hepatitis B virus from the body by boosting the immune system. The treatment was intended for adults with stable liver function who had not recently used other immune-based therapies.
