First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special PET scan (HER2-PET/CT) can help doctors personalize chemotherapy for people with early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer. After two cycles of treatment, the scan results will guide whether to intensify or reduce therapy. The goal is to improve the chance of eliminating all cancer before surgery while avoiding unnecessary side effects.
