Could some breast cancer patients skip harsh chemo?

Summary
This study is testing whether some patients with early-stage, HER2-positive breast cancer can safely avoid chemotherapy before surgery. Researchers are using a specific biomarker test to select 63 participants whose cancer is highly dependent on the HER2 protein. These patients will receive only a targeted two-drug combination (PHESGO™) before surgery, and their response will be closely monitored with scans.
