Doctors probe link between hepatitis c and blood cell changes

NCT ID NCT06564051

Summary

This study aimed to understand how common a specific blood cell condition (monoclonal B-cell lymphocytosis) is in people with chronic hepatitis C. Researchers observed 29 participants to see if treating the hepatitis C virus affected this blood cell condition. The study was terminated and did not test a treatment; it only collected blood samples and reviewed medical records to gather information.
