Scientists hunt hepatitis B's hidden human helpers
NCT ID NCT02798549
Summary
This study aimed to discover which human proteins stick to hepatitis B virus particles. Researchers analyzed blood samples from 14 adults with high levels of the virus to identify these proteins. The goal was to understand how the virus uses these human proteins to survive and spread, which could point to new targets for future treatments.
