Could a common vaccine help fight chronic hepatitis b?
NCT ID NCT04843852
Summary
This early-stage study is checking if a vaccine normally used to prevent hepatitis B is safe for people who already have a long-term infection. Researchers will give two vaccine shots to 10 adults whose infection is currently controlled with medication. The main goal is to see what side effects occur and how the vaccine affects the body's immune cells that fight the virus.
