New immune therapy aims to knock out lingering hepatitis b

NCT ID NCT05343481

Summary

This study is testing whether a new two-part immunotherapy called VTP-300, given with a low dose of an existing drug (nivolumab), can help the body's immune system better control chronic Hepatitis B. It involves 120 adults whose virus is already suppressed by daily pills. The main goal is to see if this combination can significantly reduce a key marker of the virus in the blood over six months.
