Scientists map immune battles in hepatitis b patients
NCT ID NCT01298037
Summary
This study aims to understand how the immune system responds in people with chronic Hepatitis B infection. Researchers will examine blood samples from 201 adults already enrolled in a larger Hepatitis B study to measure different immune system components. The goal is to learn how the balance between immune activation and regulation relates to disease activity and viral levels, which could improve future treatment approaches.
