New injection tested to fight chronic hepatitis b

NCT ID NCT05961098

Summary

This study tested an experimental injection called RBD1016 in adults with chronic hepatitis B who were already taking standard antiviral pills. Researchers wanted to see if adding this injection was safe and could further reduce signs of the hepatitis B virus in the blood. The trial involved 48 participants who received either the real injection or a placebo (dummy shot) in addition to their regular medication.
