First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looked at how common hepatitis B and C are in African and Asian immigrants living in Minnesota, and how these infections might lead to liver cancer. Researchers tested 892 adults for hepatitis markers and tracked liver cancer cases over time. The goal was to better understand the risks in these communities, not to test a new treatment.
