New study tests gentler hemorrhoid surgeries for faster recovery
NCT ID NCT07333040
Summary
This study compares three different surgery options for treating moderate hemorrhoids: traditional removal surgery, laser treatment, and a heat-based energy therapy. It aims to see if the newer, less invasive methods lead to less pain and a quicker return to normal activities than the standard surgery. Patients will choose their preferred treatment after counseling, and researchers will track their recovery and pain levels for a year.
