New 'No-Cut' procedure tested for common hemorrhoid problem
NCT ID NCT05697562
Summary
This study is testing a minimally invasive procedure called Superior Rectal Artery Embolization (SRAE) for people with bleeding hemorrhoids. Researchers want to see if blocking the blood supply to the hemorrhoids works as well as two common treatments (rubber band ligation and DG-HAL) at controlling symptoms and bleeding. The trial will enroll 80 adults to directly compare these approaches.
