New hope for hemophilia patients: study tests simpler treatment to save joints

NCT ID NCT07439055

Summary

This study is comparing two different treatments for hemophilia A to see which one better controls bleeding and protects joint health in young patients. It involves 18 patients in Thailand who were first on one standard treatment and then switched to a newer, potentially simpler treatment. Researchers are tracking how often patients bleed, the health of their joints, and their quality of life over several months.
