First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple ultrasound test can help doctors monitor blood volume changes in patients having lower back surgery. Researchers will measure the size of a large vein in the belly at different times during the operation. The goal is to find a non-invasive way to track fluid status and prevent drops in blood pressure.
