First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a common nerve test called needle EMG can cause hidden muscle bleeding in people taking blood thinners (DOACs). About 70 adults on DOACs will get an ultrasound 30 minutes after the test to check for any bleeding. The goal is to find out if the test is safe for this group.
