NCT ID NCT06249126
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods for severe heel fractures. One group gets standard surgery, the other gets an extra procedure that fuses the subtalar joint. The goal is to see if the fusion helps people return to work and daily activities with less long-term pain. The study will enroll 218 adults with severe heel fractures and follow them for one year.
