New study tests if adjusting heel height in carbon fiber braces eases pain after leg injury

Summary

This study looks at how changing the heel height in carbon fiber custom braces affects foot pressure, pain, and comfort during walking. Researchers will test 20 adults aged 18-65 who have had a traumatic hindfoot injury and experience pain when putting weight on their foot. Participants will walk with and without different braces to see which setup reduces pressure and pain the most.
