First seen May 10, 2026 ยท Last updated May 10, 2026
Summary
This small pilot study looked at whether a mouthwash containing homoeriodictyol (HED) could reduce the bitter taste that many women with gynecologic cancers experience during chemotherapy. The study planned to enroll 15 patients and measure taste changes before and during treatment. The goal was to help improve food intake and quality of life by easing this unpleasant side effect.
