Summary
This early-stage study tested a new insomnia medication called HEC83518 in 57 healthy Chinese adults aged 18 to 45. The main goal was to check if the drug is safe and how the body processes it, including the effect of food. Participants took multiple doses and were monitored for side effects. This is a first step to see if the drug is safe enough for future studies in people with insomnia.
