Scientists test if a few heavy squats can give footballers a quick jump boost
NCT ID NCT06982937
Summary
This study aimed to find out if a short set of heavy squats is better than jogging for helping football players jump higher immediately before a game. Researchers tested 44 healthy, young male football players, measuring their jump height and using safe tools to see what happens inside their muscles and nerves after each warm-up. The goal was to understand the science behind the quick performance boost to help athletes and coaches choose the best pre-game routine.
