Scientists test how fast new smoking devices deliver nicotine
NCT ID NCT06356610
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the body absorbs nicotine from four different heated tobacco products compared to a person's usual brand of cigarettes and nicotine gum. It involved 80 adult smokers who tried the products in a clinic over six days. Researchers measured nicotine levels in the blood and asked participants about their experiences to compare the products.
