Heated chemo bath tested as last hope for inoperable bladder cancer

NCT ID NCT07231809

Summary

This study is testing a heated chemotherapy wash for the bladder in patients with high-risk bladder cancer that has not responded to standard treatments and who cannot have their bladder surgically removed. About 50 participants will receive the heated treatment weekly for six weeks, then monthly for nine months. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and if it can keep the cancer from coming back for at least one year.
