Heating tumors to boost cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07372300
Summary
This study is testing if adding a special heat therapy to standard treatment helps shrink tumors more effectively in adults with locally advanced rectal cancer. Researchers will compare standard treatment alone to standard treatment plus targeted heat sessions delivered twice a week. The goal is to see if the combination leads to better tumor shrinkage, higher rates of complete response, and improved long-term survival.
