First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This early-phase study looks at how short-term heat exposure affects small blood vessel function in healthy adults aged 18 to 80. Researchers want to see if passive heating can mimic some benefits of exercise for blood vessel health. The study involves 20 participants and uses a technique called microdialysis to measure blood vessel responses. It is purely observational and does not aim to treat or cure any disease.
