Needle heat or freeze tested to zap spreading prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT07237399
Summary
This study is testing a minimally invasive procedure called thermal ablation for men whose prostate cancer has spread to a few other spots in the body. Doctors use a needle to apply extreme heat or cold directly to the tumors to destroy them. The goal is to see if this is a safe and effective alternative for patients who cannot have the usual radiation treatment.
