First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether giving people their 'heart age' and genetic risk scores, along with a digital behavior-change app, could help them reduce their risk of heart disease. Over 1,100 adults aged 30-74 with at least a 5% risk of heart disease participated. The goal was to see if these tools could motivate healthier habits and lower risk factors like blood pressure and cholesterol.
