Summary
This study tested a device called ShortCut™ in 8 patients who needed a second heart valve replacement. The device is designed to safely split the old valve's leaflets during the procedure to help prevent a dangerous blockage of the coronary arteries. Researchers collected data on how well the device worked and its safety in these high-risk patients.
