Heart scans reveal best breathing test for ICU patients

Summary
This study looks at 24 ICU patients on breathing machines who are ready to try breathing on their own. Doctors will use heart ultrasound to see which of three breathing tests is easiest on the heart. The goal is to find the best way to help patients safely stop using the breathing machine.
