Summary

This study looks at whether it is safe to use hearts from donors who have hepatitis C for heart transplants. Researchers will track 500 people who receive these hearts to see how well they do, including survival, rejection, and cure rates for hepatitis C. The goal is to expand the number of available donor hearts.
