Could a simple blood test replace painful heart biopsies for transplant patients?
NCT ID NCT04707872
Summary
This study aims to see if a new blood test can accurately detect heart transplant rejection, potentially replacing the need for frequent, painful heart biopsies. Researchers will compare the blood test results to two other advanced diagnostic methods in 300 heart transplant recipients. The goal is to find a less invasive way to monitor patients and catch rejection early.
