New device aims to 'Feel' heart stiffness in silent killer conditions
NCT ID NCT07215715
Summary
This study aims to test a new ultrasound device that measures stiffness in the heart and liver. It will compare these measurements in 150 people: those with a specific type of heart failure (with or without a protein buildup disease called ATTR-CM) and healthy control subjects. The goal is to see if this new measurement can help doctors better understand these conditions in the future.
