Trial tests 'Leave nothing Behind' heart treatment

NCT ID NCT06710210

Summary

This study aims to see if a new 'hybrid' treatment for long, diffuse heart artery blockages is safe and works as well as the current standard. The new approach uses a temporary, dissolving scaffold and drug-coated balloons, aiming to leave no permanent metal behind. It will be compared to the standard treatment using multiple permanent drug-eluting stents in 150 participants.
