NCT ID NCT05362721

First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at how placing a stent to open a narrowed part of the aorta (coarctation) changes the heart's workload. Researchers will measure heart pressure and volume before and after the procedure in 21 children and adults. The goal is to understand if stenting fully improves heart function or if some strain remains.
