New balloon treatment aims to stop heart stents from reclogging
NCT ID NCT07045194
Summary
This study is testing a new balloon treatment for people whose previously placed heart stents have become reblocked. It compares a new sirolimus-coated balloon to an existing paclitaxel-coated balloon to see if they work equally well at keeping the artery open. About 740 participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two treatments.
