Calculator aims to Fine-Tune heart medication, reduce risks
NCT ID NCT05732701
Summary
This study is testing if using a personalized risk calculator helps doctors decide the best length of time for patients to take two blood-thinning drugs after getting a heart stent. It will compare this calculator-guided approach to the current standard where doctors decide based on their experience. The goal is to find the right balance to prevent future heart problems while minimizing the risk of serious bleeding.
