Race to heal: new stent aims for faster artery recovery
NCT ID NCT06214819
Summary
This study aims to see if a new type of heart stent (VIVO ISAR) heals faster inside arteries than a commonly used stent (XIENCE Skypoint). Researchers will compare how well each stent is covered by the body's own tissue one month after placement in 40 patients with coronary artery disease. The study uses a special imaging technique to measure healing directly inside the arteries.
